Freehouse that started life as a terrace of Victorian cottages before being turned into an ale house in the late 19th century. The pub has a large garden. Dogs are welcome in the main bar and garden. The regular beers are Harveys Sussex best and Larkins Original (plus sometimes a guest).The pub is a hub for folk music - holding a monthly regular folk night, plus an annual long weekend folk festival.
