The Queens Arms in Cowden Pound is a real rarity - interior is pretty well unchanged from its origins as a Victorian rural pub (and is on CAMRAs list of nationally important historic interiors).

There are 2 rooms - a public and a saloon bar - both with fireplaces. It is also very dog friendly - was told that sometimes the dogs outnumber the humans!

The pub itself keeps short hours - essentially evenings Thursday through Saturday and lunchtime on Sunday (check the link for more details as some of the evenings are pretty short).

Address : Hartfield Road, Cowden Pound, TN8 5NP

They have no website (or listed phone number) - but click here to visit their Facebook page (someone will respond to a Facebook message) - alternatively click here to visit a web page (maintained by the local branch of CAMRA) which has some additional details about the pub.
