The Kings Arms is a restaurant throughout and dogs are not allowed inside (there is a sign on the door to this effect). There is an awning at the side of the pub with tables and bench seats and another table at the far end of the car park.
A historic feature to the left of the front door, is the Jolly Ostler's Box with serving hatch, believed to be the only complete example left in the country. It's illustrated with a mannequin dressed in appropriate period costume. An ostler, as defined by wikipedia as being "A person employed at an inn, hostelry, or stable to look after horses; a groom "
