A Grade II listed building that started life as a tudor hunting lodge (rumored to be a favorite haunt of Henry VIII). It is sister pub to The Castle Inn at Chiddingstone. Recently refurbished to a very high standard. There is a large beer garden at the side of the pub. Dogs are allowed in the garden - and inside in the bar area (but not the restaurant areas). Pub usually serves 2 Westerham beers (varies) - plus Larkins Traditional and Harvey's Sussex Best.
